Is virtualization your biggest business opportunity?
As an HP/Microsoft Frontline partner, there has never been a better time to talk to your midsize customers about virtualization. With research showing it to be a huge growth area, new solutions overcoming previous barriers to adoption, and great up-sell and cross-sell potential, it might just be the best business opportunity you have today.

The Data Center Institute predicts that by 2010, more than half of all data centers will have to relocate to new facilities or outsource some applications. And that by 2011, data center operations will be halted at 90% of companies due to power failures and limits on power availability, and, that one out of every four data centers will experience a business disruption serious enough to affect the entire company’s ability to continue business-as-usual. This is why, AMI Partners indicates that 39 percent of U.S. midsize businesses consider virtualization to be a key issue to address in the next 12 months.

While server utilization and total cost of ownership problems in mid-sized companies are similar to large enterprises, the fear of complexity and high cost of virtualizing has prevented heavy adoption so far. Architectural firm’s efficiency rises to new heights
CollinsWoerman implemented the latest technological advancements in the buildings that it designs with the help of FLP partner Northwest Computer Support. A single implementation of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 improved operational efficiency and productivity, which will produce more benefits as it expands. Northwest Computer Support implemented the solution and worked with Microsoft support as needed. The company plans to take advantage of virtualization capabilities in Windows Server 2008 to reduce capital and operational costs.

Computrace Professional tracks and recovers stolen computers with assistance from the Computrace recovery team, and provides up to $1000 in recovery reimbursement if a computer cannot be recovered within 60 days.
