Remote Access

This month’s theme is Remote Access. Enable your customers access to business critical information anytime, anywhere, whether they are in the office or on the road. Secure Remote Access capabilities are no longer just for large companies; solutions are now available for SMB IT budgets.

In this issue, we provide you with several resources: a new campaign to help you generate leads for Remote Access solutions, a new HP Total Care service that enables small businesses to manage and share digital content from anywhere, and two case studies of FLP partners who have implemented Remote Access solutions that met their customer’s needs.

Announcing new Remote Access campaign
A new Remote Access Solution campaign has launched! This campaign is brought to you by HP, Microsoft and Citrix; however, you don’t have to have Citrix certification to sell or deploy it. Simply leverage your vast knowledge and experience in installing and supporting HP-based Microsoft® Windows® Server solutions. Be among the first 100 FLP partners to get your subsidy and start customizing your version of the campaign today!

HP Upline – state-of-the-art security, convenient access
With HP Upline , a new HP Total Care Service, your customer’s files and data are only an Internet connection away. Large files can be easily accessed, shared, manipulated and stored from virtually anywhere, at anytime. It’s simple, secure and affordable for your small business customers.

FLP partners recommend Remote Access Solutions
FLP partner Afinety helps Cindy Fortune, Director of Administration at law firm Gibbs, Giden, Locher, Turner & Senet LLP in Los Angeles, CA, run an efficient operation, where attorneys have mobile access to critical data while on the road and for court appearances. Doug Hafford, VP Consulting at Afinety, recommended reliable HP Compaq Business Notebook PCs for attorneys who travel, as well as a solid infrastructure including HP ProLiant servers, StorageWorks, HP CarePaqs and printers.

FLP partner NetVision Consulting solved Remote Access issues for Trinity Valley School with Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services on HP ProLiant servers, enabling faculty and students to work effectively off-campus, as well as on campus.

Joint HP/Microsoft campaigns

Innovative!  New campaign incentives
For a limited time, we have new, robust incentives for all hpmspartnermarketing.com campaigns. Be among the first 100 FLP partners to run any campaign by July 31 and receive a $1500 subsidy to help pay for your printing and mailing costs, including e-mail (yes, e-mail!), direct mail or telemarketing list rentals. And if your campaign includes an event, you can even use or split the subsidy to purchase co-branded promotional materials such as FLP- or custom-branded pens, pads, coffee mugs, shirts or lighted lanyards from the new FLP store. Hurry, these subsidies expire July 31—use them or lose them!

Updated!  First Server, Right Server campaign
We also have updated the First Server, Right Server campaign to feature the HP ProLiant ML350 Server model for first-time server implementations in small businesses. It was based on your feedback that this is now the “hero product” for this campaign. Launch your First Server, Right Server campaign or revitalize your current campaign today!

Need a sales accelerator?
The Microsoft Big Easy offer is a fantastic opportunity for Frontline Partners to sell more hardware and services. With this offer, customers get cash back that they can redeem to purchase HP hardware and/or services from the partner of their choice, which means they can offset some of the cost. For you, leveraging the Big Easy is the perfect way to handle the price objection and/or total cost of ownership objection. Learn how you can make the most out of this unique offer. It should strongly appeal to all customers that you have in your “pipe” and that haven’t purchased yet.

Simple. Sign, sell and earn!

VAR Rebate: Grow your business with more cash from Microsoft. Earn up to 30% back in rebates on new Open Value sales. The new and improved Open Value rebate program delivers great value for you. Hurry, this offer is limited.

FLP partners at Windows Server 2008 launch events!

Interest is high, as Windows Server 2008 launch events continue to attract a large number of attendees. At each event, a Frontline Partner is sponsored by the FLP as an exhibitor. Feedback from those of you who have participated is extremely positive. Launch events continue through June. We thank those of you who represent FLP, and we welcome your photos!
